Russian Runa Capital has participated in A round of American SchoolMint. Startup was able to attract $2,2 mln; New School Ventures Fund, Crosslink Capital and other funds also participated. It is possible to make application in 500 American schools via SchoolMint, the list will be expanded with the help of investments.
Runa Capital, New School Ventures Fund and Crosslink Capital headed the A round of investments for $2,2 mln. Other participants - Kapor Capital, Imagine K12, Romulus Capital, Fresco Capital and EdMentor VC.
SchoolMint is developing platform, which allows to submit application for American schools online. The service makes it easier to change schools. The platform is available on the company’s web-site, and also via apps based on iOS and Android.
