RBC has published the TOP-20 Russian advertisers rating. Russian biggest media and Internet ad buyers surpass the overall market pace: in H1, 2014 they increased their ad baying spending at 8% while total Russian electronic ad market growth only came to 3% over the same period.
Top 20 Russian advertisers’ budgets have been calculated for RBC by Advance MediaBrands within the media internet-based ad segment. It includes banners, pop-up windows, and other similar ad formats. These figures are then extrapolated to Internet-based as spaces.
Traditionaly, such businesses, as car makers (there are 8 automotive concerns in the TOP-20 list), dominate in the rating. Five auto makers increased their media spending in the comparison to last year’s period, while three others brought them down.
