Internet video in Runet is keeping high growth rates. The audience of Gazprom-Media Digital (largest video advertising market player) increased in 1H2014 for 29% till 30,5 mln. unique viewers, data of comScore. Total audience of internet video in Runet increased for 11%, till 63 mln. people. The segment of video advertising is growing faster than market of internet advertising in 1H2014: according to Gazprom-Media Digital estimations, advertisers spent 1,9 bln.RUB on video advertising – 50% growth.
Growth rate of total audience share of GPMD was more than average market indicators. According to comScore data, average index by monthly audience in 1H2014 increased for 29%, till 30,5 mln.unique viewers by same period in 2013 (audience 15+), and number of video plays – for 106%, till 695,9 mln. Audience coverage (age 6+) was 32,8 mln. unique viewers –they watched 745 mln.video. One of the reasons of such growth was the expansion of available for placement sites, including social networks Vkontakte and Odnoklassniki – largest runet videosources.
