Share of Russian companies on global OTT videservice market in 2013 was less than 1%, according to J’son & Partners Consulting data. By 2017 global OTT market can reach 28,9 bln.USD, it has increased per 3,1 times for the last three years.


46% operators' revenues on OTT market (7,88 bln.USD) – advertising model (aVOD), in Russia this share reached 75%. Second by popularity OTT monetization model in the world – subscription services: 38% operators' revenue or 6,44 bln.USD.
According to iKS-Consulting, number of unique viewers of Russian licensed video services has reached 60 mln. people. Russian VoD segment doubled for a year and reached $50.5 mln. (105% revenue growth). Advertising monetization model covers 78% market ($39.5 mln.), and paid subscription has around 22% ($11 mln.). Analysts forecast that VoD-services on Russian market in 2014 will grow for 75% (and will reach $88.7 mln.) and by 2018 will be estimated in $290.5 mln.
