The number of LTE base stations in Russia increased to reach 21.6K by the end of QII

LTE network in Russia is experiencing a booming growth. According to Roskomnadzor, the number of LTE base stations increased from 12.3 thousand at the end of 2013 to 21.6 thousand by the end of the second quarter of 2014, thus signifying the growth with a 75% CAGR.

 

According to J'son & Partners Consulting’s preliminary data, 3 million subscribers have used LTE at the end of the first year half in Russia.

 

This is stated in the new “Russian economy: manufacturing, finance, securities" bulletin of AK&M Information agency, which is dedicated to the communications industry.
