Types of corporate tariffs

 

Analysis of tariffs on mobile communications provided by operators in Moscow showed that almost all operators offer package offers, i.e. basic number of services is being provided to subscribers for a fee. Tariffs are being divided in several categories, it depend on customers' monthly expenditures and consumption of services. All tariffs had been distinguished in major 3 categories in terms of the research by volume of service consumption:

  • LOW. Low segment tariffs include: till 500 voice min., 3 GB internet, SMS – 3000.
  • HIGH. High segment tariffs include: till 1000 voice min., 6GB internet, SMS – 3000.
  • VIP. Premium segment tariffs include: till 6000 voice min., 15GB internet, SMS – 15000.

Operators offer a wide range of additional options to most tariffs, for example, connection of additional package of voice min. on the Russian territory.

 

SPECIFICATION of tariffs by segments LOW, HIGH AND VIP

 

LOW includes from 150 till 500 min. local calls. These tariffs either don’t include international calls or till 500 min. Such tariffs usually offer 1.5 – 3 GB internet and some tariffs also offer till 3000 SMS. Subscribers' fee – from 250-950 RUB.

 

LOW tariffs include:

 

 

Local calls – 150-500 min.; International calls and roaming – 0-500 min.; Mobile Internet – 1.5-3 GB; SMS – till 3000; Subscribers' fee – 250-950 RUB.

 

HIGH tariffs include from 1000-1500 min. local calls, international calls – 0-1000 min; Mobile internet – 5-6 GB and some tariffs additionally offer till 3000 SMS. Subscribers' fee – 950 – 1600 RUB.

 

High tariffs include:

 

 

 

Local calls – 1000-1500 min.; International calls and roaming – 0-1000 min.; Mobile Internet – 5-6 GB; SMS – till 3000; Subscribers' fee – 950-1600 RUB.

 

VIP tariffs include from 3000 – 6000 min. local calls, calls inside Russia 0-6000 min. Most tariffs offer 9-15 GB Internet; SMS 3000 – 15000. Subscribers' fee – 1300-4700 RUB.

 

Premium segment (VIP) tariffs include:

 

 

Local calls – 3000-600 min.; International calls and roaming – 0-6000 min.; Mobile Internet – 9-15 GB; SMS – 3000-15000; Subscribers' fee – 1300-4700 RUB.

 

Comparison of Enterprise tariff plans

 

During the research, J’son & Partners Consulting's experts estimated the attractiveness of tariff plans for subscribers. Several scenarios had been chosen for this matter: constantly going on business trips around Russia; prefer SMS and mobile internet as a communication method. Basic tariffs had been compared by J’son & Partners Consulting together with tariff plans with additional options provided by operators, such as packages of international calls (roaming). Tariffs had been compared separately for each category by level of services' consumption: LOW, HIGH and VIP. The following scenarios of cellular communication services' consumption had been distinguished:

 

  • Basic scenario;
  • Subscribers mostly use voice communications;
  • Subscribers mostly use SMS and Internet;
  • Subscribers mostly use local communications;
  • Subscribers who travel a lot and make a lot of inter-city calls;
  • Subscribers who use less cellular communications.

 

J'son & Partners Consulting made a rating of tariffs on enterprise communication services in Moscow by subscribers’ expenditures based on one of basic scenarios. The result – is the identification of the most competitive tariffs.

 

LOW:

 

Average subscribers' expenditures per month - 1000-1200 RUB

 

 

 

Beeline's tariffs are the most attractive for subscribers in almost half of researched scenarios in the LOW segment. MTS's tariffs are appealing for users with the lowest needs in corporate mobile communications. Megafon's range of services is almost the same as the one provided by Beeline but costs are higher.

 

 

 

HIGH:

Average subscribers' expenditures per month – 1000-2500 RUB

 

 

 

Beeline's tariffs are the most attractive for subscribers in almost half of researched scenarios in the HIGH segment. Megafon's tariffs are appealing for users with the lowest needs in corporate mobile communications. Tariff plans by MTS in the High segment are mostly less attractive for subscribers than offers from Megafon and Beeline.

 

 

 

VIP:

Average subscribers' expenditures per month – over 2500 RUB

 

 

Offers by Beeline and Megafon are almost alike in the VIP segment: Beeline is attractive for subscribers who mostly use local calls and consume a lot of services; Megafon – for groups of subscribers with a lower needs in roaming – inter-city calls.

 

 

 

Conclusion

 

 

According to the analysis of enterprise tariff plans on mobile communications in Moscow, subscribers' fee is around 250-4700 RUB per month. Enterprise tariffs are being divided by segments – level of services' consumption for different groups of subscribers.

 

 

It is possible to make a summary according to the conducted comparison: Beeline offers the most competitive tariffs for subscribers who spend around 1200 RUB per month, according to the researched scenarios. Meanwhile, subscribers who spend less on mobile communication than according to basic scenarios, MTS provides the better tariffs.

 

 

Subscribers who spend 1000 – 2500 RUB on corporate mobile communications, according to the researched scenarios, corporate tariffs by Beeline are the most profitable. At the same time Megafone offers better tariffs for those who make a lot of local calls.

 

Those who spend over 2500 RUB on mobile communication, Beeline and Megafon provide the most appealing tariff plans. Beeline – for subscribers who prefer voice calls and use internet often and Megafon – for subscribers whose costs on cellular communication are lower in comparison with basic scenario.

 

 

Results according to the research: At the moment, Beeline offers the most competitive corporate tariffs on corporate communication services in Moscow by each scenario.
