Susanne Nikoltchev looked forward to a “much-needed roadmap of the new VoD landscape in Russia both from an economic and legal standpoint”.
“On-demand: a new opportunity for film?” – the conference on the legal VoD market in Russia took place in Moscow on Tuesday 10th of October, being organized by European Audiovisual Observatory and J’son & Partners Consulting hold.
The conference was opened by long-standing Russian representative within the Observatory’s Executive Council, Vladimir Grigoriev, Deputy Head of the Russian Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communication. Observatory’s Experts, Gilles Fontaine and Maja Cappello, provided some economic and legal scene setting of the VoD market.
The Observatory’s’ brand new report, The Russian legal on-demand video services market, was presented by Dmitriy Kolesov, Head of TV and Content Department of J’son & Partners Consulting.
A panel discussion led by Dmitriy Kolesov will engage our speakers and audience in a debate on the new opportunities which VoD distribution offers to films and programmes. Among panelists were Dmitriy Karmanov from CTC Media, Viktor Chekanov, CEO of Megogo.net and Dmitry Pashutin, Head of Media service Analytics at Yandex.
