M-Enabling Russia 2015 - Axel Leblois, G3ict: People with disabilities need equal access to ICT
Axel Leblois, Founder and Executive director, G3ict talks about origins, activities and success of 3Gict Global initiative. Where is the border of responsibility between state and business in providing access to ICT for people with disabilities. Mr. Leblois also gives some success stories
of cooperation G3ict with global operators, including VimpelCom in Russia.
E.J.Krause & Associates launched new project in Russia called M-Enabling Russia 2015 - the unique event focusing on technology for senior citizen and people with disabilities. M-Enabling Russia 2015 took place on May 13th at the Renaissance Moscow Monarch Centre Hotel. The conference and exposition offered an overview of solutions to ensure that senior citizens, persons with disabilities and users of all abilities can enjoy the benefits of mobile telephony and data services while securing greater equity among citizens.
E.J.Krause & Associates, Inc. and G3ict (The Global Initiative for Inclusive Information and Communication Technologies) organized the event in partnership with the renowned Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Further support was provided by ASI (Agency for Strategic Initiatives Supervisory Board), which is headed by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and UNIC Moscow as well as the All Russian Association of Deaf and All Russian Union of Disabled People.
